To many enthusiasts the FN 1905 four has always been one of the most appealing machines of veteran and vintage times. Its production ran from 1905 till 1926. The earliest type had a 363cc engine with automatic overhead inlet valves and side exhaust valves. The machine was single geared, had shaft drive and the top speed was about 60 km/hour.
The Belgian arms company FN was the first to make a 4-cylinder FN 1910 motorcycle. This is a 500cc engine, as big as that in the Gilera, but doesn`t look big because of the small cooling fins on the engine.
