The Matchless G3L a motorcycle by the British Army during the World War 2, when Matchless manufactured G3 and G3L models. The G3L became one of the most popular motorcycles used in World War 2 , as it was the first to replace the unforgiving girder forks with a new technology - teledrualic suspensions. In 1940 the British War Office requisitioned every available motorcycle to replace those lost.

The Matchless G50 is one of the classic British racing motorcycles, and comes from the single-cylinder era. The carburetor fed 50hp G50 has defining touches like its magneto ignition and a handmade clutch.

The Matchless G9 is a 500cc twin engine motorcycle. Supposed to be a very comfortable ride. Possibly the sweetest sounding Matchless G series twin will ever hear, this bike starts and runs so well it just wants to be ridden.

In 1932 Bert Collier designed and built a narrow angled 594cc V-Four called the Matchless Silver Hawk motorcycle. The bold engine design was quite sophisticated for the time, and the SilverHawk would be the precursor to the AJS Vee Four several years later.
