"What amazing things you see...", - now these words can be said by those, who couldn't eventhink that on motorcycle can be carried more people, than on minivan! The Great Britain surprized with a new moto-record again. And the matter is not in wheelie or othe amazing tricks. Except performing long jumps, representatives of English-speaking countries can make the longest motorcycle in the world. Well, it looks more like scooter, than motorbike, but for its striking size and scarrying passenger-carrying ability. And the fact that Guinness Book of Records didn't recognize it as scooter, still stands.
The creator of this tech wonder is Colin Furze from Lincolnshire. By trade, this inventive man is a simple plumber. But that didn't stop him from showing his talant by significant reinforcing of huge scooter frame. Such kind of work made imppossibe a critical chassis bending under weight of so many people. But, as you can see from photo, this motorcycle loaded with people, won't be able to move.
Eather way, overall characteristics of unusual scooter impress any fan of custom moto-tech. Length of this iron horse is 22 m. According to Guinness Book of Records, it is capable for carrying of 25 people. And the maximum speed of this vehicle does not surprise at all (60 km/h).
Photo and video of the longest motorbike spread around the world. Colin managed to set a new world record after he rode 100 m on the scooter, mentioned above. But, the inventive guy didn't want to stop on this distance and rode 1.5 km. Despie the success, it is obvious for the inventor and public that this very long bike can move under its own power only straigh, and only without passengers at all.
Furze noted, that his creation rides very unstable. Rear part of the motorbike dangles sideways. Besides, Colin claims that it is impossible to turn almost on any existing road in the world, while driving this bike.
Interesting thing, but no disappointment, nor public critics made ambitious plumber give up on setting new records. Colin plans to improve chassis of its creation for appropriate carrying of 25 passengers. Finantial troubles also can't stop extraordinary Brit. The bike already "consumed" 5000 USD, and it is hard to imagine, how much will be spared on its improvement.
And the last thing we'd like to mention: previous longest motorcycle in the world was also made by Colin Furze. In 2008 he conquered the Guinness Book of Records with its "Sky" scooter, which was 14 m long. But it was officially registered as scooter, because its maximum speed was 48 km/h.
