As the least expensive 650 V-Twin, the Hyosung GT650 represents a reasonable value. The standard-style motorcycle shares its fuel injected, liquid-cooled 647cc powertrain with a cruiser and sportbike in the South Korean manufacturer’s lineup. The GT650 is nearly identical to the GT650R, but with minimal bodywork and a less aggressive riding position. The GT650 naked is all about serious performance AND serious comfort. It all starts with a rigid chassis, adjustable upside down forks and rear shock that gives precise handling and feedback. This compact watercooled 90degree v-twin, DOHC 8-valve engine incorporates the latest technology and produces 79hp. It has dual Mikuni downdraft carburetors, low restriction stainless steel exhaust, environmentally friendly secondary air intake system, which meets all world standards, including euro2.

A large 17 litre fueltank ensures long touring range. Traditional naked sports bike styling and simple ergonomics with easy to read gauges, make the comet an easy bike to ride.     i own the 2008 hyosung gt650r sports and its a great bike with excellent engine performance and has great engine grunt across the rev range and has a top speed of 238 kph .i chose this over the gt250r as its a very weak low powered bike with a very low top speed on 140 kph max .plus the gt250 has a frame that suffers from frame flex if pushed too hard around corners .the gt125r is even worse

    hyosung gt650r vs gt250r well....the 650cc is the winner hands down .it has more than twice the power of its 250cc little brother . the gt 650cc has a liquid cooled engine with a 6 speed transmission, the 250 has old fashioned air cooled engine with only 5 speed clunky transmission ,the gt650r has more than enough grunt to carry a passenger on the freeway and motorway and is also good for over taking as well .the gt250r lacks grunt to carry a passenger for long trips and does not have enough grunt to over take like most 250cc bikes .so the gt650r sports bike is the winner
