The Moto Morini Granpasso 1200 is a sporty looking motorcycle designed with agility and lightness in mind. The motorcycle’s backbone is represented by a strong trellis frame which is combined with a similarly strong 120 hp V twin oversquare engine. Among the features offered by the engine you’ll find the innovative base with one-piece central sump, mixed gear-chain drive, 54 mm double throttle body and dual overhead camshaft. Instant acceleration is akin to a big supermoto and with its firm, top-quality suspension it’s agile and stable in the corners. It’s not the comfiest, but it’s one of the most fun adventure bikes your can buy. One of the only drawbacks, which is a pretty big one, is the current health of the troubled Moto Morini company.

The Granpasso 1200’s mill is among the most impressive aspects of the bike as power delivery is instantaneous and it redlines with utter ease. Popping a wheelie on the Moto Morini Granpasso 1200 is a cakewalk as keeping the motor above 5,000rpm and a quickshift from one gear to other results in the front of the bike pointing skywards. On the highway the Moto Morini Granpasso 1200 can hold speeds above 150kmph effortlessly as the windshield thwarts all the windblast and it’s a fine motorcycle for long distance touring. The 6-speed gearbox offers crisp shifts and the massive 200mm ground clearance means that it can literally ride over anything.
